its always nice when an expensive broken appliance ends up needing a cheap fix. A year or two ago our washing machine , and dryer both broke within a month. Washing machine was the little plastic clutch in the drive line that is actually engineered to fail, that was like 7 bucks, the dryer was the belt, which broke the heating element when it snapped, those were like 25 bucks together. Much cheaper than how ever much a new washer and dryer cost, I’d look it up but i’ m too scared.

Yeah, it’s been cheaper than the (highly inefficient) gas furnace so far.
